Absolutely agree. Cities would profit massively from a shift to rewilding. It not only adds beauty and increases mental sanity, it is also the most natural way to contribute to solving problems that are caused by climate change. For example flooding and water that can't infiltrate because of all the concrete. Sadly here in Belgium, paving still increases with about 10 to 14 hectares every day. Isn't that absurd?
Great to read and see Leonard. I’ve recently been in Singapore where vertical gardens are common and new apartment blocks are built with planted courtyards between floors .. I live in sprawling Perth, Western Australia where are blessed with hundreds of parks, lakes and a magnificent coastline, but as you say consciousness is everything.

I love the pictures, they just show what can be done if we collectively green our streets, instead of filling them with cars or even worse plastic grass and concrete pavements for our cars. How we get to those views across every street in the country i don’t know but it would be wonderful if we could.

It's really a pity to see cubic stone replaced with tarmac. Not only does it look bad, but, as you mentioned, it doesn't bode well with water!

Singapore has indeed gone through a lot of changes and has rewilded large areas. You can even find otters in there!
